I am trying to let Levi's hair grow out because I've never seen him with long-ish hair. He is in the "Awkward stage" as Dan calls it. It's like one big permanent bad hair day at the moment. It grows fast though so hopefully it won't take too long.

It was so nice out today, we couldn't resist a trip to the park. Dan played bball while Levi and I played on the playground. We stopped by Yo Berries on the way home for frozen yogurt!

My parents sold a house not long ago and the previous tenants left a bunch of stuff behind. Lucky for us, they had a young boy who just so happens to like the same things Levi likes. We got this Thomas "Tidmouth Sheds" set and some track for his trains that he absolutely loves. Nice find huh?

Ben is here for the weekend and Levi is happy. He loves taking care of him and gives him water, treats and kisses! We spent most of the day inside because it is freezing outside! Levi also wore big boy undies without any accidents!

We went to visit Audrey and her kids after work today. They have a huge playroom and Levi was in heaven with all the new, exciting toys. We ate pizza and gave 4 kids a bath at one time! We love going over there to see my friends and the kids!

Levi has his 2.5 year check up today. He is 29.5lbs and 38in. 50% for weight and 90-95% for height. His measurements are completely opposite from last visit. He is much taller and lost his baby chub. He also got a flu shot but handled it like a pro.

Levi is having a hard time adjusting back to daycare. He was off school for over a week with us during the holidays and cried so hard this morning when I dropped him off.
Dan's mom was waiting for us when we got home to give this to Levi! He got a hard hat and tool belt for Christmas and now has an entire bench. He loves it!

We spent the 1st morning of the new year at the play ground. Levi was into "underdogs" on the swings. It was freezing so we didn't stay long. After the park, we went to my parents for dinner!

Merry Christmas 2012!
I haven't posted in almost a year. SO much has happened this past year. Dan started school in February and has class every evening. He was only working part time for awhile but actually found an HVAC job and has been there full time for the past couple of months. It's been rough without Daddy around but we enjoy our time together on the weekends. Soon it will all be over and we can have Daddy back!
I started a new job the very beginning of 2012 and have almost been here a year. We are very thankful for health insurance finally! I am also thankful to be working for a company that cares about it's employees. It's a nice, welcome change for sure! Dan and I also celebrated out 1st wedding anniversary together this year!
Levi has grown so much. He has recently starting talking in full sentence and has a large vocabulary. It is super cute to hear him ask questions, tell us things, sing songs and communicate with us. He goes potty on the toilet whenever asked and even tells us sometimes when he needs to. He has learned how to count to 16 so far (with the occasional missing #4) and knows about 8 colors. He loves reading books and watching cartoons. He got a portable DVD player for Christmas 2011 and he loves watching movies on it. His favorite foods include pizza, macaroni and cheese, pasta, fruit and SNACKS. He has coined the name "snack boy" from my parents. Throughout the year, we visited Sesame Place, took a trip to the beach and even went for a helicopter ride. We had the pool set up this summer and he had a blast in it. He is also into basketball, football and baseball. He loves to play them and watch them on "the big TV"
He really liked looking for pumpkins at Halloween and Christmas lights this Christmas. He recently got very into Thomas the Train. We took him to visit Santa (he did great!) and a huge train set. He absolutely loved it. He is also very interested in vehicles. He loves firetrucks, cars and buses.
Levi has been at the YMCA for just over a year now and does pretty well there. Hopefully he will be potty trained in the near future so that he can go swimming.
Oh! Levi finally gave up his bottle at 25 months which we were very thankful for!
