After hours in the ER and a night full of screaming, we headed to the doctors first thing this morning. And guess what? He said that Levi should have stitches had last night. Who would have guessed. The Dr. said that he will probably have a scar either way and putting stitches in now would be more of a hassle to us so he used medical glue. My kid got his head glued back together today.

Levi fell off of the bottom step and gashed his head open on the radiator. It was bleeding a lot and pretty deep so we headed to the ER. They were very unaccommodating, unhelpful, and unfriendly. We sat for just about 2 hours before I asked when we were up. The grouchy receptionist told me that there was one person in front of him and then he would be called back. 14 people and an hour later, we decided to leave. It was very clear that they had no interest in helping a baby who can't talk to tell us how much pain he is in. He was fussy, sleepy, hungry and most likely in pain so we left, unseen. Thanks a bunch York Hospital for caring about your patients.

The hurricane didn't hit us too bad. Levi's ceiling has water damage but it could have been worse!!

We got a new baby gate this morning. Grandpa came over and installed it for us! Hurricane Irene is about to hit! Hopefully everything turns out okay.

I went through the boxes of Cousin Evans clothes tonight and pulled out all of the 24 month things. There were a ton!! We also found little baby Ugg boots which Levi loved!!  He wouldn't take them off.  :)

We got a new kitchen table yesterday and finally have 4 chairs! Levi ate dinner in his new booster seat!

I got in the shower this morning while Levi was sleeping. A few minutes later I heard a BOOM and then a scream! I jumped out of the shower and ran to his room.  He was standing on the floor crying! :(   He must have climbed up the bumper, over the music soother and over.  I felt terrible. He was fine after a few minutes. I put him in the bathtub w/me and he played. He got a big welt on his forehead but that was the extent of his injuries. We lowered the crib immediately!

I forgot to take a picture w/my real camera today but I did get a few cell phone pictures. Levi and I hung out and went shopping today. We got all kinds of new stuff with our gift cards from the reception.

Today was the big day!! We had an awesome time! Everything worked out and it was beautiful. Even the weather held out! Levi was a dancing MACHINE!! He had a great time.

My cousin's son Henry turned 1 this week so we celebrated at Poppops house. It was fun to see two toddlers around the same age "interact" with each other.

Yay for Friday!! We are almost finished getting everything ready for the reception. Levi has protested against eating so we have to get creative. He actually loved eating grilled chicken out of his toy tennis ball holder. It's weird, but at least he ate!
