Levi got this toy from Dan's aunt Lisa. It blows air out of the hole in the top so that balls fly out of it, however, Levi LOVES to use it as his personal fan! It is so darn cute I couldn't resist getting a picture.

Levi had his 1 year doctor visit this morning. He is 22lbs. 8 oz. and 30 1/8 inches tall. He got 2 shots but is healthy and happy!
Dan's great-grandmother also passed away last Thursday night so we attended her funeral this afternoon. :(
We got home late and Levi was ready for bed. I snuck in a quick picture before putting him in his crib.

Levi had an awesome party yesterday. We had about 20 people over, cooked out, opened presents and swam. He got tons of new toys. Can't believe he's been here for a year already!!

I took a long lunch today and took Levi to the doctor since he was digging in his ears. The doctor took a look and said his ears look great but his molars are "bulging" which is causing him a lot of pain. He is trying to get to them through his ear since they are close. At least it's just teething though, and not another ear infection!

I can't believe in 5 short days we will have a one year old. It blows my mind to think that a year ago today I was already 5 days overdue, waddling around, and complaining about how huge I was. It seems like yesterday!

I have something very sad to admit... For the 1st time since January 1st I forgot to take a picture :( I rushed out of work, got Levi from daycare and headed to my parents house to feed their animals since they are on vacation. I came home, showered quick and met my girls at Bistro 19 for dinner and a girls night out. Dan watched Levi all evening and that's that. No picture. Sorry Bubby!!

Levi isn't quite interested enough in his sippy cup to actually drink from it, and he has to be on one in the toddler room at daycare so we are working hard to get him into it. We caved and bought some juice to see if that would work. He took a few sips but still wants his "ba-ba".

Moochin'
We had some crazy thunderstorms lastnight. We headed to the basement for a few minutes just to be safe during the worst of it, and I decided to look through the boxes of clothes from cousin Evan so see if anything new might fit Levi. There was an entire box of 18month clothes!! So now the kid has a new wardrobe :)

Levi and I went to Aunt Chelsea's yardsale and hung out for awhile today. We made $40! Wooo! Afterwards, we went shopping for clothes for JAMAICA!!

What have we learned this week? Levi does not like peas, he spits them right back out. We need to baby proof better since he is now climbing over barricades and getting into everything, and we can't let him play with the ceiling fan because when we put him down he screams because he wants to keep pulling the cords.
